For the life of me!

I don't understand why women who are married and work in the corporate market insist on using the names they were given at birth.

Before she married Kevin Rudd, his wife was known as Therese Rein, the name given to her after she was born. When she maried Kevin Rudd, she took his NAME and became Therese Rudd. Her TITLE is Mrs. Kevin Rudd. The media now refer to this lady as Therese Rein and her husband as Kevin Rudd. Sounds like two different people to me. It is highly likely that Kevin Rudd will become our next Prime Minister, and he will be correctly referred to as such, 'PRIME MINISTER'.

I am certain Mrs. Rudd is rightly very proud of her husband and she should confirm that by insisting that people refer to her as Mrs. Rudd.
